As the development of game play progresses, stay tuned I will add videos here. This page is also devoted to providing insight into how I came about the final design of any logos, environment design and game play.
Baba Yaga – The Eyes Of Horror Logo Development
The idea for the Game Logo Design came about after i started the design and concept of the game. My idea of a good logo design is that it needs to represent the brand, and the audience are able to identify an unique concept in the relation to the game.
Logo Concepts
The unique design of the logo came about from the in game concepts of: That Baba Yaga is Evil, the all seeing eye, the use of Eye Potions, the house and in game text. Therefore i used the idea of the eye within a triangle (which has many different meanings associated to it). I took the perspective that Baba Yaga is evil and she isn’t all seeing and that the triangle is more a symbol of the house in which Baba Yaga resides in. The pentagram I used as the centerpiece of the eye to represent Baba Yaga and the outer eye design to represent the Player being able to see through the eyes of Baba Yaga.
Characters
The Player Finn
The main character of the game Baba Yaga – The Eyes Of Horror is Finn. Finn is a resourceful resilient young boy, that is witty, fast and nimble. Finn’s main objective in the game is to save his four friends before the timer runs out and they are eaten by hideous old Baba Yaga. Finn can interact with most of the environment around him, hide in unique places and find hidden items to help his venture to escape. He can also use the Baba Yaga’s eye potions, this potion gives Finn the ability to see through the eyes of his enemy.
The Freinds
The four friends in which Finn needs to save to escape Baba Yaga’s Mansion
The Enemy
Baba Yaga
Baba Yaga wanders on the outskirts of small towns searching for the opportunities to kidnap children. She fattens up her victims to feast on their flesh to subdue her hunger.
